iPod a hard drive

Need a hard drive? Use your iPod.

Connect your iPod to computer.

Launch iTunes.

Click on iPod icon down right.

Go to music sub tab.

Check box in front “Enable disk use”.

Press OK.

Access your new hard drive through My Computer.

Important: Stay away from iPod system folders. Don’t erase any file present.

Add additional folder where you will place your files.

Open iTunes.

Find the song you want to get lyrics for. Select it.

Go to Menu. Select “File” and then “Get info”.

New window will pop up.

Press on “Lyrics”. Window is empty.

Search on Google for lyrics wanted and copy the text.

Paste it into iTunes lyrics window and press “OK”.

Sync your iPod touch or iPhone with your computer.

Press twice on the “Home button”

On the pop up screen you can play and pause tracks or select backward and forward

To close the pop up screen, press “Close”

Download free program “idump” and install it.

Plug in your iPod (wait to be recognized by your computer)

Launch application

Change output options (directory, format, play list)

Select the music you like to copy

Click “Start copy”
